JUNE 28th, 2022 -- Mowery & Schoenfeld, LLC is pleased to announce the continued growth of both our Firm and its leadership with the promotions of Jed Ang, Nicole Lindley, and Brandon Potocki to Tax Partners and Tim Long to Assurance Partner.
“Since they joined the Firm, all four of these individuals have upheld our core principals of people, service, and growth in everything they do,” said Managing Partner Jeffery Mowery. “As we continue to expand our services and integrate more voices into our leadership team, we are excited to see how their contribution will shape the future of Mowery & Schoenfeld.”
Tim Long, Assurance Partner, has more than 12 years of experience in public accounting and business consulting. He holds both a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and a Master of Accounting Science from Northern Illinois University as well as an Advanced Defined Contribution Plans Audit Certificate issued by the AICPA.
Since joining the Firm in 2020, he’s had the opportunity to assist leadership in selecting and integrating new technology for the A&A team and expand the A&A services provided to our clients. Tim also leads our Employee Benefit Plan Audit practice.
Jed Ang, Tax Partner, has been with Mowery & Schoenfeld since 2008. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and a Master of Science in Taxation from Northern Illinois University. After moving back to the Philippines for a couple of years, Jed began shaping Mowery & Schoenfeld’s Philippines team to help prepare tax returns for busy season.
“I enjoy that the Firm is forward-looking and is ahead of the curve,” said Jed. “The partners are flexible and unafraid to take a chance on a concept that many firms have failed in implementing.” As a partner, Jed hopes to concentrate on the development of the team in the Philippines to allow us to expand our capacity and services there.
Tax Partner Brandon Potocki joined the Mowery & Schoenfeld tax team in November 2014 as a recent graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and has since earned his Master of Science in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University. Brandon now specializes in providing tax services to search funds and corporations, and as a partner, he hopes to continue to grow his area of the Firm “exponentially.”
Nicole Lindley, Tax Partner, holds both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, as well as a Master of Science in Taxation from Northern Illinois University. Nicole specializes in helping our manufacturing, distribution, professional service, and other business tax clients take a proactive approach to their tax planning and compliance needs.
