As International Tax Principal and International Markets Leader at Mowery & Schoenfeld in Miami, Florida, Ricardo brings over 20 years of professional experience, specializing in guiding companies and individuals through the complexities of operating and investing across multiple jurisdictions, whether they are considering market entry into the U.S. from abroad, expanding from the U.S. to global markets, an international transaction, or optimizing their existing multinational operations.
Ricardo has contributed to publications such as Thomson Reuters and Forbes, and frequently lectures for professional, educational, and commercial organizations. He serves as the Chairman for Latin America of the International Taxation Practice Group of GGI Global Alliance, is a member of the Board of Directors of the Miami-Dade Beacon Council, a member of the Executive Committee of the United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce Inter-American Chapter, and participates in the Global Ambassadors program at Northwestern University.
Ricardo holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Kellogg School of Management, a Master of Laws in Taxation (Tax LLM) from the Pritzker School of Law at Northwestern University, a Law Degree from Universidad Panamericana, and a Degree in Public Accounting and Finance from Universidad del Valle de México.
